Nodestream will launch its Missions collaboration platform on 24 October 2026, taking the first product developed under its defence-focused Plan Consilience strategy into commercial availability.

The platform combines live video, audio, telemetry and other operational data in a browser-based workspace for teams operating across unreliable or low-bandwidth networks. It is designed to sit beneath existing command-and-control, autonomy and mission applications rather than replace them.

For investors, the launch moves Missions beyond development, but commercial validation is still ahead. Nodestream said the product has not generated revenue and has no material contracts as of the announcement date. Adoption will depend on customer take-up, migration of existing users and, for defence and government buyers, procurement, accreditation and integration processes.

Built on existing transport technology

Missions uses Nodestream’s established transport protocol, which is already used by defence customers in the field. The underlying platform can transmit multiple video streams alongside audio and data over satellite, LTE/5G, tactical IP radio and mesh networks.

Current capabilities support as many as 16 simultaneous video streams and 20 data streams per encoding node. In Nodestream’s internal testing during April 2026, the platform continued to deliver usable video with packet loss of up to 40% at available bandwidths of 200 kbps and 1,000 kbps. Those results have not been independently verified.

Missions adds a collaborative layer to that transport technology. Distributed teams can access a shared operational picture assembled from multiple assets, while remote specialists can contribute to decisions rather than only viewing individual feeds. The platform also supports one-to-one transmission and one-to-many distribution within the same workflow.

The new product replaces Nodestream’s existing Views offering. Current customers will receive direct support as they transition, giving the company an existing user base to approach while it pursues new defence and national security opportunities.

Revenue model and sales pathway

Missions will be sold through tiered subscriptions, with discounts for annual prepayment. Standard plans provide unlimited users and access to all standard features, while additional streaming devices and data can be purchased as add-ons.

Nodestream expects most defence and government customers to use its enterprise sales pathway, reflecting their specialised security, deployment and support requirements. The company plans to sell directly to end users and through defence primes, systems integrators and connectivity providers, including in its priority US and European markets.

The launch delivers on the timetable set out in Nodestream’s June 2026 quarterly report, when the company described Missions as development-complete. The next test is converting that technical readiness into deployments and recurring subscription revenue, with timing subject to customer adoption and government purchasing processes.
