PC Gold (ASX: PC2) Extends High-Grade Gold at Spring Hill

PC Gold has reported gold intersections above its existing block-model grades at the Spring Hill project in the Northern Territory, including a deeper extension of the deposit’s high-grade Link Zone.

The strongest broad result came from hole SDH26-016, which returned 29.65 metres at 4.32 grams per tonne gold from 332.35 metres. That interval was more than twice the predicted block-model grade and included 4.75 metres at 8.60 grams per tonne from 350 metres within the Link Zone.

Hole SDH26-017 intersected 33.38 metres at 2.17 grams per tonne from 156.62 metres, with several higher-grade internal zones. It also returned a separate Link Zone interval of 8 metres at 3.69 grams per tonne from 195 metres. PC Gold said the Link Zone was encountered further east than modelled and was one metre thicker at that location.

A nearby hole, SDH26-019, produced 3.24 metres at 13.18 grams per tonne from 240.76 metres within the same structure, supporting the interpretation that the Link Zone is slightly displaced east of the current model.

More drilling for the December resource update

Other results reinforce the potential for changes to the deposit model. Hole SDH26-012 returned 34 metres at 2.07 grams per tonne from 301 metres, including 10 metres at 4.17 grams per tonne. The internal Link Zone interval was two metres wider than modelled and carried a higher grade.

Hole SDH26-013 intersected 19 metres at 1.70 grams per tonne from 402 metres, including 1.7 metres at 7.87 grams per tonne. That Link Zone mineralisation was found 30 metres down dip from its modelled position, extending the known structure at depth.

Results also included 10.8 metres at 3.64 grams per tonne from 306.2 metres in SDH26-021, while drilling in Main Zone South returned a broad near-surface interval of 38 metres at 1.32 grams per tonne from 13 metres in MS-027. The same hole intersected 4 metres at 5.39 grams per tonne from 218 metres.

The latest drilling will feed into an updated mineral resource estimate targeted for December 2026. PC Gold intends to include drilling completed after the April cut-off used for its interim July 2026 estimate.

Spring Hill currently contains a mineral resource of 43.6 million tonnes at 1.1 grams per tonne for 1.5 million ounces of gold, using a 0.5 gram-per-tonne cut-off. All resources are classified as indicated or inferred.

The company owns the project outright and holds granted mining leases, with environmental approvals in place for open-pit mining and underground refurbishment. It is also progressing a pre-feasibility study.

Assays remain outstanding for material sections of holes SDH26-012 and SDH26-021. PC Gold expects those results over the coming weeks, while diamond drilling continues to test extensions to known mineralisation. Reported intersections are downhole lengths and reflect approximate true widths unless otherwise stated.
