Solstice Minerals (ASX: SLS) Extends Nanadie With Wide Copper-Gold Hits

Solstice Minerals has intersected 169.3 metres at 0.87% copper and 0.29 grams per tonne gold beyond Nanadie’s current resource boundary. Step-out drilling has also extended the system to at least 1.5 kilometres.

Solstice Minerals has reported a 169.3-metre copper-gold intercept outside the current resource boundary at its wholly owned Nanadie project in Western Australia, adding evidence that the deposit could grow both at depth and along strike.

Combined reverse-circulation and diamond hole NANRCD001 returned 169.3 metres at 0.87% copper and 0.29 grams per tonne gold. That included 73.3 metres at 1.07% copper and 0.26 grams per tonne gold, with narrower sections of 8 metres at 2.12% copper and 6.3 metres at 2.65% copper.

The result is material relative to Nanadie’s existing inferred resource of 40.4 million tonnes at 0.4% copper and 0.1 grams per tonne gold. That estimate contains 162,000 tonnes of copper and 130,000 ounces of gold, but does not incorporate the latest drilling.

Mineralisation extends below the resource

Solstice said NANRCD001 showed continuity with nearby holes, including previously reported broad intercepts in NANRCD004 and NANRCD005. The latest hole also encountered 4.6 metres at 1.65% copper and 0.26 grams per tonne gold, followed by another broad mineralised interval farther east, supporting the company’s interpretation of an emerging eastern zone.

A second diamond tail on the same section, NANRCD002, returned several copper-gold intervals, including 23.9 metres at 0.76% copper and 0.23 grams per tonne gold. It ended in 5.8 metres at 1% copper and 2.43 grams per tonne gold, including one metre at 12.71 grams per tonne gold. The hole has since been extended to 729 metres, with assays pending.

Both diamond holes intersected significant mineralisation more than 300 metres below the current resource boundary. Reported intercepts are downhole lengths, with true widths not yet established.

Shallow drilling adds development relevance

Results closer to surface also exceeded the grade of the existing resource in several areas. Hole NANRC063 returned 51 metres at 0.5% copper and 0.16 grams per tonne gold from five metres, as well as 27 metres at 1.23% copper from 135 metres. The latter included 3 metres at 5.78% copper.

Another hole, NANRC062, produced multiple shallow and deeper intervals, including 47 metres at 0.66% copper from four metres. Solstice is focusing on the eastern margin of the host gabbro, where stronger grades have appeared across multiple holes.

Step-out drilling 160 metres north of previous work returned 28 metres at 0.52% copper and 0.17 grams per tonne gold, extending the identified mineralised system to at least 1.5 kilometres. It remains open to the north, south and at depth.

Three drill rigs are operating at Nanadie, with assays pending from 14 completed diamond holes and 28 reverse-circulation holes. The campaign is expected to continue through the remainder of 2026. Solstice reported $45 million in cash and no debt, giving it capacity to maintain drilling and geophysical work without near-term balance-sheet pressure.
