0:00 / 2:57Stakk Limited has secured a minimum two-year agreement to supply document-processing and fraud-mitigation technology to Step, the US financial platform owned by MrBeast’s Beast Industries.
Services went live when the agreement was signed, meaning revenue has already commenced and will be received monthly. The contract combines recurring platform fees with usage-based charges tied to processing volumes, giving Stakk potential upside if activity on Step’s platform grows.
The total contract value has not been quantified because it will depend on usage. Stakk nevertheless expects the agreement to contribute meaningfully to its FY2027 revenue target, citing Step’s user base of more than seven million people.
The minimum service term is two years, followed by automatic renewals for successive 12-month periods.
Technology for mobile cheque deposits
Stakk will provide a bespoke solution for Step’s mobile Remote Deposit Capture service in the United States. Its technology will automate the extraction and validation of information submitted during mobile cheque deposits, support deposit decisions and help reduce fraud risk.
The product incorporates Stakk’s AI-powered document processing, validation and fraud-mitigation capabilities. Step selected the company after reviewing its technology and operational capabilities against the platform’s requirements.
Step offers mobile financial tools intended to help customers manage money, build credit and improve their financial knowledge. Beast Industries acquired the business in February 2026 as part of its expansion into financial services.
That ownership gives the customer win an unusually large potential distribution context. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has more than 500 million subscribers to his flagship YouTube channel. At the time it acquired Step, Beast Industries reported more than five billion monthly views across its channels.
Those audience figures do not translate directly into processing volumes or guaranteed revenue for Stakk. However, the existing scale of Step’s platform underpins management’s expectation that the contract will make a meaningful contribution in FY2027.
Another addition to Stakk’s customer base
Step is a new customer for Stakk and expands its presence in its core US market. The agreement follows Stakk’s separately announced Australia and New Zealand engagement with IBM, as well as recent engagements involving Candescent and the FBI.
The Step contract also broadens the types of organisations using Stakk’s technology, adding a consumer-focused financial platform alongside its enterprise and government-related work.
Stakk says it serves more than 300 enterprise customers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Its systems process more than 110 billion interactions annually across services including identity verification, document authentication, fraud prevention and transaction decisioning.
For shareholders, the key variables will be Step’s processing volumes and the resulting usage charges. The agreement provides an immediate recurring revenue base, but its ultimate financial contribution cannot yet be determined.
