Vection Technologies has confirmed $1.35 million in annual order revenue for FY27 from an unidentified national security and law enforcement client, extending a classified intelligence program delivered continuously for more than five years.

The technology company expects to recognise the full amount as revenue in FY27, with no deferred component. Vection said the order will contribute to operating cash receipts under its recurring revenue reporting framework, although the announcement did not provide payment timing or margin details.

The order is new for the financial year but does not represent a new customer relationship. Its importance lies in the program’s continuity: the classified engagement has generated annual revenue for Vection across the past five years, making it one of the company’s longest-standing customer arrangements.

“This new order confirmation is not a new relationship. It is the continuation of a programme we have delivered without interruption over the past five years,” Managing Director and Executive Chairman Gianmarco Biagi said.

AI services delivered through secure infrastructure

Vection provides AI-powered multiprotocol data enrichment, retention and correlation capabilities for real-time intelligence requirements. The services are delivered through a Dell Technologies AI endpoint operating within a distributed edge infrastructure built to classified national security standards.

The company did not identify the customer or disclose operational details, reflecting the classified nature of the program. Vection said the engagement supports national security and law enforcement activities in a high-security environment.

For shareholders, the order adds a defined FY27 revenue contribution from an established client rather than introducing the execution and customer-acquisition risks associated with a new deployment. However, the announcement confirms only the FY27 extension and does not set out commitments for subsequent financial years.

Broader defence order base

The classified program sits alongside Vection’s larger NATO-aligned defence framework, which is structured differently and generates project- and product-based orders under a multi-year delivery program.

Vection said that framework is valued at $22.3 million and can scale to $29.5 million through FY30. Cumulative orders under the framework now stand at $30 million, according to the company.

Together, the two programs give Vection a mix of repeat annual income from the classified intelligence engagement and framework-based order flow from defence work. Management said this revenue base supports continued investment in platform development and commercial expansion.

Vection specialises in artificial intelligence and extended reality systems, combining AI, three-dimensional data and immersive technology for enterprise applications. The latest order reinforces defence and intelligence as an established commercial market for the company while adding $1.35 million of revenue expected to be recognised within the current financial year.
